Among the 25 Faculty Councils of the various disciplines, the two disciplines with the most candidates are Economics and Medicine. Of which, Economics has 108 candidates (6 Professors and 102 Associate Professors); Medicine has 82 candidates (6 Professors and 76 Associate Professors).

Of which, the youngest candidate for Associate Professor in Medicine in 2024 is Dr. Le Minh Hoang, working at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy .
According to the application for recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2024, Dr. Le Minh Hoang was born in 1987, from My Thinh commune, My Loc district, Nam Dinh province.
Mr. Le Minh Hoang graduated in 2011 with a degree in Chinese Medicine, majoring in Chinese Medicine at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, China.
In 2014, he received a master's degree in Chinese Medicine, specializing in Chinese Medicine Surgery, also from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, China.
In 2020, he was awarded a PhD in Traditional Medicine by the Vietnam Military Traditional Medicine Institute, specializing in Traditional Medicine.

The youngest Associate Professor candidate in Medicine 2024 has many years of experience with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy - a prestigious university training in Medicine in the Mekong Delta region.
From October 2014 to November 2020, Mr. Le Minh Hoang was a lecturer in the Department of Traditional Medicine - Faculty of Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
From November 2020 to May 2021, he was Deputy Head of the Department of Traditional Medicine, Faculty of Medicine. Then, from June 2021 to December 2023, he held the position of Head of the Department of Traditional Medicine.
Also in December 2023, at the age of 36, Mr. Le Minh Hoang was appointed Head of the Faculty of Traditional Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. To date, Mr. Hoang still holds this position.

Mr. Hoang said that since the year after graduating with his PhD, he has published 34 domestic and international scientific works in the fields of Traditional Medicine.
In the application for recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2024, Dr. Hoang said: "I have been a lecturer at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy since 2014, participating in teaching Traditional Medicine at the Department of Traditional Medicine. In 2021, the Department of Traditional Medicine was formed, separated from the Faculty of Medicine, becoming the Department of Traditional Medicine under the University of Medicine and Pharmacy and I was assigned as Head of the Department of Traditional Medicine. In 2023, I was appointed Head of the Department of Traditional Medicine, continuing to teach postgraduate courses in Traditional Medicine for the programs of Resident Physician, Specialist 1, Specialist 2, Traditional Medicine.
I have worked with the department to develop and teach postgraduate training programs such as specialist 1, specialist 2, and residency in Traditional Medicine and am writing a project to open a master's degree program, presiding over the compilation, development, and teaching of 4 continuing education programs; working with the department to develop university-level teaching curricula and publish teaching curricula...
