In implementing administrative reform (AR) linked with digital transformation (DMS), the Hanoi Department of Tourism continues to focus on digitizing operational activities, improving the quality of public services, and reviewing and simplifying administrative procedures, aiming for an administration that serves citizens and businesses.

1) Outstanding results in digital transformation in internal operations.
– 100% of officials and civil servants use specialized digital signature authentication services.
– 100% of work files at the Department are processed online (except for files classified as state secrets).
– The Department maintains the synchronized operation of shared platforms serving management, administration, and operations; and at the same time promotes the digitization of data and results of administrative procedures on the City's three-level shared electronic one-stop information system.

2) Online public services and improving the efficiency of administrative procedures.
– The percentage of eligible administrative procedures that can be provided as online public services throughout the entire process has reached 70% (18 out of 26 eligible administrative procedures).
– The rate of administrative procedures processed entirely online has reached 100%.
3) Review, simplify administrative procedures and restructure processes
– The Department has compiled and reported the results of reducing and simplifying administrative procedures according to Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP; and at the same time advised the City People's Committee on Submission No. 27/TTr-SDL dated May 21, 2025, regarding the approval of the plan to simplify administrative procedures under the Department's authority.
– In implementing the directive on streamlining and shortening the processing time for "green lane" applications, the Department has announced a hotline to receive feedback on delays in processing applications.
– Process restructuring: 05 administrative procedures (according to the content the Department is currently implementing/standardizing internal processes).
4) Enhance the digital capabilities of the team.
– On April 4, 2025, the Department of Tourism organized a conference to share and exchange experiences on the application of AI in handling professional work for all officials and employees in the agency.
