According to the regional development plan, tourism in the Southeast is determined to develop in a professional, modern, in-depth, high-quality direction, with high competitiveness in the region. Currently, each locality in the Southeast region has different tourism specialties.

In Binh Phuoc alone, in 2024, the province has proactively surveyed, developed and put into operation 3 typical tours including: 2-day-1-night eco-tourism tour (Ho Chi Minh City - My Le eco-tourism area, Bang Lang hill and Bu Gia Map National Park eco-tourism area); 2-day-1-night cultural experience tour (Ho Chi Minh City route, Son Ha bird's nest island tourist area, Stieng ethnic cultural conservation area in Bom Bo and Bu Lach grassland tourist area; 1-day source tour (Provincial Museum, Van Thanh Buddhist Temple and Ta Thiet Military Command base). The province has also proactively connected with travel businesses from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Binh Thuan, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Kon Tum and provinces in the Southeast region, the Mekong Delta region to cooperate in developing tourism in the province.

Delegates signed an agreement to cooperate in developing green tourism.
At the conference, Binh Phuoc and the provinces of the Southeast region signed an agreement to cooperate in developing green tourism with the general direction of developing tourism activities that do not use plastic waste, building tours that do not use motor vehicles, developing community tourism, eco-tourism, and rural agricultural tourism.
