Regarding the case of "Unsettled payment for the Central Highlands General Hospital Project" reported by VNA reporters, on October 10, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health said that the unit is inviting and working with contractors to reconfirm the volume and figures of the unapproved bid packages for the Central Highlands General Hospital project.
Accordingly, from October 8 to 14, Dak Lak Department of Health invited to work with the following units: Tien Thinh Construction Limited Liability Company (Dak Lak province) to construct and install the Yard and Internal Road Item (package No. 6); Dak Lak Construction Joint Stock Company (Dak Lak province) to construct and install the Technical House Item (package No. 7); Trang An Technology and Equipment Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) to construct the Technical House Equipment Item (package No. 18) and the Central Medical Gas System Item (package No. 20); Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation of the Ministry of National Defense (Hanoi) to construct the Inpatient Treatment House Item No. 3 (package No. 17);
Trong Hieu Trading Service Limited Liability Company (Dak Lak) constructs the Outdoor Network Item (Package No. 15); International Progress Joint Stock Company ( Hanoi ) constructs the Wastewater and Waste Treatment Station Item (Package No. 16); Nam Son Construction Company (Dak Lak) constructs the Gate and Fence Item (Package No. 3); Tan Thanh Do Incoland Group Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) constructs the Construction and Equipment Package accompanying the Inpatient Treatment Building Items No. 1 and No. 2.
Previously, on September 17, VNA reporters reported on the content related to the Central Highlands General Hospital Project, which started construction in 2010 with a total investment of nearly VND1,100 billion, invested by the Dak Lak Department of Health, and inaugurated on February 26, 2019 with 1,200 beds.
However, up to now, the project still has 9/19 construction items that have not been settled, leading to incomplete settlement according to legal regulations. Therefore, the Central Highlands General Hospital does not have enough basis to determine that it is a State asset formed from the project.
Worryingly, the project has not yet completed its final settlement, so the hospital has not been granted an official operating license, causing many problems during operation, significantly affecting people's health care.
Following the reflection of VNA reporters, on October 1, Dak Lak People's Committee issued an official dispatch assigning the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to study the reflection content, advise the Provincial People's Committee to provide information to VNA reporters according to regulations./.
