Number of applications for capacity assessment increased by 13.5%

Ho Chi Minh City National University has just announced the number of registrations for admission based on the results of the 2024 capacity assessment exam, as of the closing date of the registration portal (end of June 21).

43,498 candidates registered for admission based on their ability assessment test scores.

Accordingly, 43,498/104,843 candidates with this year's competency assessment test scores have registered for admission (an increase of 8.5% compared to last year). Of these, 32,898 candidates have registered for units under Ho Chi Minh City National University.

The total number of registered wishes is 215,715 (average 5 wishes/candidate), an increase of 13.5% compared to 2023.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh - Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment, Ho Chi Minh City National University - said: "In total, for both rounds of Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exams this year, 104,843 candidates registered to take the exam.

The general score distribution of candidates has a natural and widespread distribution, showing a high ability to classify candidates, which is favorable for admission. The score distribution in 2024 is similar to the score distribution of previous years, showing the stability of the exam."

Ho Chi Minh City National University announces admission results before July 5

Ho Chi Minh City National University notes that candidates need to update the photo of the application form to the system to complete the application.

At the same time, it said that it will announce the results of the admission exam by considering the 2024 capacity assessment test scores before July 5.

This year, 109 universities and colleges used the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University for admission.

Of which, 68 units inside and outside the Ho Chi Minh City National University system participate in the common admission system with 1,747 majors for candidates to register their wishes.
