Department of Construction awarded 500 million VND to support 10 communes and wards damaged by floods.

On December 9, the Department of Construction organized a delegation to visit, encourage and give gifts to support localities that suffered heavy damage in the floods last November.

Representatives of the Department of Construction donated 50 million VND to support Phu Yen ward to overcome damage caused by floods.

This is an activity within the unit's program of sharing difficulties, helping people quickly stabilize their lives and restore production after natural disasters.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented support to the following communes and wards: Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Kien, Dong Hoa, Hoa Xuan, Xuan Lanh, Phu Mo, Tuy An Bac, O Loan and Tuy An Tay; each locality received 50 million VND. All funds were mobilized from officials, civil servants, employees, workers and enterprises in the construction industry.

Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Nguyen Tan Chan shared the difficulties of localities in the process of overcoming damage after natural disasters.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Nguyen Tan Chan, during the recent flood, the unit mobilized vehicles and forces to support localities in overcoming the consequences, clearing traffic routes and ensuring safety for people.

At the same time, the department called on organizations and businesses to join hands and contribute to the flood victims. Although the gifts are not large, they contribute to spreading the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and timely support for localities that are making efforts to recover after the floods.
