The event attracted about 200 delegates, folk artists, competition teams, and a large number of locals and tourists.

Right after the opening ceremony with the drum beating ceremony, the festival atmosphere became exciting with the "Traditional winter fishing festival".
Amidst the sound of gongs, drums and cheers, the teams and local people went directly to the fields to experience fishing.


The main activity was the "Muong Kitchen Cuisine Competition". The teams used the products they had just caught, combined with local ingredients to prepare and present typical dishes of the Muong people, such as: grilled fish, steamed fish, bamboo-tube rice, steamed sticky rice, wild vegetables, dipping sauce...
The judges scored based on the taste, presentation and cultural meaning and story of each dish.



In the evening, the festival space becomes cozy with the art program "Muong colors in winter night".
Performances in traditional costumes, xoe dance, and bamboo dance brought visitors profound indigenous cultural experiences.
At the festival, the organizers honored and awarded prizes to the best artists and teams.


The event was held to honor the traditional culture and cuisine of the Muong people, contributing to stimulating winter tourism and promoting the image of sustainable tourism in the locality.
