Honor, pride
These days, at the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theatre, rehearsals are taking place with urgency and seriousness. Artists and performers are highly focused on the artistic program celebrating the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The program was elaborately staged, with carefully selected musical and dance performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the reform process, and the outstanding development achievements of the country and Hai Phong city. Not only did it focus on modern and attractive performance styles, but the performances also invested in depth of content, aiming to spread faith, social consensus, and a strong momentum for development in the new era.

Singer Khanh Ngoc, from the Dance and Music Troupe of the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theatre, shared: “We consider this not just a performance, but a political responsibility of the artists. Each performance must have both artistic depth and convey the belief and enthusiasm towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. In the past few days, we have seriously practiced songs praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the strong development of the country and the city to present to the public.”
Sharing the same spirit, singer Hoang Vuong, from the Dance and Music Troupe of the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theatre, expressed his pride in participating in the art program leading up to the Congress: “We spent a lot of time refining each melody and movement to fully convey the emotions and unwavering faith in the Party. Contributing my voice to this important political event of the country is a great source of pride and a motivation for me to continue dedicating myself to art,” said singer Hoang Vuong.

That spirit of competition also spread strongly at the Hai Phong Traditional Stage Theatre. From the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, artists and actors of the Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) troupe actively performed for the people in many localities, especially in areas far from the city center.
Artist Nguyen Duong Dung, Head of the Cai Luong Troupe - Hai Phong Traditional Stage Theatre, said: "From the pride of accompanying major political events of the country, each performance is meticulously and seriously prepared. Bringing Cai Luong and other traditional theatrical forms to the grassroots is not only a professional task, but also a social responsibility of the artists in nurturing the spiritual life and strengthening the people's faith towards the Party Congress."
Spreading strong faith in the Party
Recognizing the particularly important political significance of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism promptly issued a document to launch a peak period of propaganda, cultural, and artistic activities to celebrate the Congress, with the requirement of being synchronized, focused, and creating a widespread impact in society.
Propaganda efforts were intensified across various media outlets, including newspapers, radio, television, and digital platforms, focusing on highlighting the significance and historical importance of the 14th National Congress – a milestone that ushered in a new era of national development.

Along with disseminating information, the city focuses on visual propaganda and promotion, creating a solemn and enthusiastic cultural and political atmosphere in central areas, gateways, and major transportation routes.
Mr. Le Van Luong, Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibitions, said that the unit has developed a model and specific guidelines for localities to organize visual decorations and propaganda to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party. The installation of banners, posters, electronic boards, and ceremonial decorations has been implemented synchronously, ensuring aesthetics and contributing to creating an atmosphere of excitement and confidence among the people.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Director of the Hai Phong Traditional Theatre, with proactive preparation from an early stage, the unit has staged many attractive plays and performances that are both artistically valuable and meet the propaganda requirements of the current period. Highlights include plays about building a drug-free city, theatrical works about famous figures and the history of Hai Phong, along with many comprehensive art programs, especially puppet shows for children.
“Through these performances, we hope to contribute to spreading traditional cultural values, creating an atmosphere of excitement and confidence among the people. This will help promote the role of theatrical arts in propaganda, education, and in supporting the city's political tasks,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy.
During the days of the 14th National Congress of the Party in Hanoi, cultural and artistic activities celebrating the Congress took place vibrantly and practically in the port city. These programs, performances, and promotional images not only enriched the spiritual life of the people but also contributed to strengthening their faith, inspiring aspirations for development, and strengthening their determination to accompany the Party on its new journey.
In Hai Phong, cultural and artistic activities celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party and commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) were held enthusiastically.
The highlight is the televised art program at the City Theater Square and the Eastern Cultural Center Square, combined with fireworks, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere.
From January 19th to 25th, the exhibition "The Communist Party of Vietnam Through Its Congresses" was held at the City Exhibition House, serving a large number of people who came to visit and learn.
