People are excited to be resettled
The newly built house of Mr. Bach Van Hung's family in the new resettlement area has gradually formed the first floor, right after the land was handed over. Mr. Hung shared: My family has received support from the local authorities to complete the procedures to build a new house. We hope the house will be completed soon so that we can live in peace and no longer worry about landslides.
The early access of people to new residential land is an important condition for them to proactively rebuild their lives, while facilitating the handover of land to implement the project of handling landslides and stabilizing the slope behind the Provincial Political School.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuyen - Vice Chairman of Cam Duong Ward People's Committee said: The ward has relocated households out of the dangerous area immediately after the landslide occurred. Up to now, the ward has handed over resettlement land to 17 households that need to be relocated. For households that are still at risk but do not need to relocate for a long time, the ward continues to monitor and coordinate with specialized agencies to assess the safety level. If danger is detected, we will report to the province to have a timely relocation and resettlement plan.
Along with that, the ward regularly coordinates with the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to inspect and evaluate the site to ensure that the construction process of the landslide treatment and slope stabilization project is carried out in accordance with standards, without causing further impact on residential areas.
Urgent handling of landslides
The project to handle landslides and stabilize the slope behind the Provincial Political School was approved by the Provincial People's Committee with an area of 1.4 hectares. By the end of November 2025, the People's Committee of Cam Duong Ward had counted and counted all 17 households affected by landslides and notified land recovery and resettlement in accordance with regulations. The remaining 23 affected households are currently temporarily moving to wait for the results of the geological quality assessment in the area. If the geology is not guaranteed, the households will be relocated and allocated resettlement land.

At the project site, the construction unit is speeding up progress to ensure safety for the area. Immediately after the end of the rainy season, when the weather stabilized, the construction unit proactively brought machinery and equipment back to the site to deploy the main items.
Mr. Vu Dinh Son - Commander of the landslide treatment and slope stabilization site behind the Provincial Political School, said: The construction unit has worked overtime, accelerated progress, and tried to complete important items soon to ensure the safety of the slope area.
The construction of the embankment is considered an urgent solution to prevent the risk of landslides, protect households and infrastructure in the area. According to the plan, all compensation and resettlement work will be completed in November 2025. When households fully hand over the site, the construction unit will continue to complete the entire embankment system, ensuring long-term safety for the area.
The landslide treatment project behind the Provincial Political School is an important project, not only protecting the infrastructure but also helping to stabilize people's lives. With the synchronous participation of authorities at all levels, construction units and the consensus of the people, the landslide treatment work is being vigorously implemented, gradually bringing about clear results.
