Son Heung-min scores first hat-trick in MLS

On the morning of September 18, the Korean star left a strong impression in Los Angeles FC's (LAFC) 4-1 victory over Real Salt Lake in the MLS make-up match.

At the age of 33, Son Heung-min has created a real fever in LAFC and MLS. In the match against Real Salt Lake, Son Heung-min continued to show his ability to score goals and break through speed, which made his name at Tottenham Hotspur before moving to MLS this summer.

In the second minute of the first half, Son opened the scoring for LAFC. From a quick pass from his teammate in the midfield area, he accelerated past two Real Salt Lake defenders and finished accurately into the far corner of the goal.

Previously, on September 14, Son Heung-min also scored after just 53 seconds in LAFC's convincing 4-2 victory over San Jose Earthquakes in round 30 of MLS.

Normally, San Jose Earthquakes play at PayPal Stadium with a capacity of 18,000, but the appearance of Son Heung-min caused the organizers to move the match to Levi's Stadium with a capacity of 68,500 to accommodate the large audience. That shows the influence of the former Tottenham star in MLS.
