Son La province is streamlining its leadership structure at the departmental level.

On the afternoon of May 4th, the People's Committee of Son La province held a conference to announce the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee regarding personnel matters at the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Ethnic Minorities and Religion, Industry and Trade, and Finance.

Representatives from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang on his appointment as Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Son La province.

Specifically, Decision No. 1076/QD-UBND dated May 3, 2026, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province transferred Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province, to work at the Department of Foreign Affairs and appointed him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

In Decision No. 1077/QD-UBND dated May 3, 2026, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province transferred Mr. Tra Quyet Thang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, to work at the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, appointing him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

According to Decision No. 1078/QD-UBND dated May 3, 2026, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of Son La province, has been transferred to work at the Department of Industry and Trade and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

Representatives from the Management Board of Industrial Zones of Son La province presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Tra Quyet Thang on his appointment as Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Son La province.

According to Decision No. 1086/QD-UBND dated May 4, 2026, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee transferred Mr. Do The Huong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Yen Son Commune, to work at the Department of Finance, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Finance. All of the above decisions are valid for 5 years, effective from May 5, 2026.

Presenting the decisions and speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Hau requested that the newly appointed individuals quickly familiarize themselves with their duties, utilize their abilities and work experience; proactively conduct in-depth research on the functions and tasks of their assigned sectors and fields; and work together with the leadership team of their agencies in a spirit of unity and cohesion to improve the quality and effectiveness of the assigned tasks. Furthermore, each newly appointed individual must truly be a nucleus of unity, a center for gathering collective intelligence, daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility for the common good.

On behalf of the newly appointed and transferred individuals, Deputy Director of the Son La Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Van Manh expressed his determination and aspiration to contribute "To a green, rapid, and sustainable Son La."
