
Since the merger of administrative units from July 1, 2025, the People's Committee of the commune has always paid attention to the work of receiving citizens, maintaining regular working order, ensuring proper procedures and efficiency.
The People's Committee of the commune has issued regulations on citizen reception, internal rules for citizen reception, arranged a separate citizen reception room; at the same time, publicized the regular reception schedule of commune leaders.

At the working session, the Supervisory Delegation listened to the representative of the People's Committee of Son My commune present a report on the results of handling petitions, disputes, complaints and denunciations of citizens in the commune from the beginning of the year to November 24, 2025.
Since the beginning of the year, Son My has received 210 complaints and denunciations from citizens; of which, 121 have been resolved, focusing on many different fields.

The monitoring delegation also listened to comments, discussed and added data to the report, documents and supporting documents provided by the Economic Department, the Social and Cultural Department, the Public Administration Service Center, the Office of the People's Council and the People's Committee.
The members of the Supervisory Delegation acknowledged the achievements of the Commune People's Committee in receiving citizens and handling petitions. At the same time, they frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the implementation process such as: The progress of handling some cases is still slow; the work of urging and checking the implementation in some departments is not regular...
Concluding the supervision session, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son My Commune, Tran Thi Dinh Huong, highly appreciated the quality of the supervision session. She requested the Commune People's Committee and relevant sectors to further strengthen their responsibilities in receiving and handling petitions, ensuring proper procedures and deadlines for settlement as prescribed. In particular, improving the quality of dialogue with people, in order to promptly resolve complaints, denunciations and disputes arising at the grassroots level.
