Products created by young people, bearing personal stamps

The event aims to create and develop a space to connect the community of brands, artists and young creative individuals from many regions. At the same time, the program also spreads positive cultural values, bearing a distinct local mark through handicrafts, fashion , cuisine, fine arts and contemporary art. From paintings, souvenirs to decorative items, each item is not only aesthetic but also shows innovation and the intersection between traditional craft techniques and the spirit of contemporary art.

Le Cong Tai - founder of "Tiem Mi Xua" - is passionate about his products because they are imbued with the essence of his hometown Hue : "I want to convey local culture in many different ways. I seriously research to combine traditional materials with modern features to create new products with the hope that the place where I live will develop, and my products will be known and accepted by many people."

In addition to creativity, the products on display also contain profound human values, coming from people with special circumstances. One of them is the booth of Tomorrow's Vocational Workshop - a model of Tomorrow's Inclusive Education Center. Here, people with disabilities and special circumstances learn a trade, work and create products with their own hands.

The event also attracts many domestic and foreign tourists.

In addition, Cooltopia also opens up a space for experiencing art through unique workshops. Notably, there is a hand-engraving workshop by young artist Tu Moc Tra - who has been dubbed as an "interpreter between material worlds" and won the Graphics Award at the 2022 Young Fine Arts Festival through the work "Lap".

A special visual highlight is the art installation “Awakened Garden” inspired by Thanh Tien paper flowers, a craft village of over 300 years old in Hue. This visually pleasing space is a harmonious combination of light, sound and morphing effects to tell the story of the traditional craft village in a modern way.

The event not only attracts young people in Hue, but also becomes a cultural destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Entertainment games or experiential activities such as crafts, art exhibitions, street music performances, etc. make the event a miniature festival right in the heart of the ancient capital.

Nguyen Tuong An Nhien (19 years old, Hue City) did not hide her feelings: “What I like most is the diversity, richness and creativity of the event. Looking at the items, I can see the personality of the person who made them, not at all mass-produced. For me, this is a very new and interesting way to explore indigenous culture.”
