STARTUP BA is an annual competition that has entered its 9th season, and each year has clearly affirmed its role in nurturing an innovative startup ecosystem for students. This year's competition attracted more than 100 project ideas with more than 500 contestants from many universities and colleges across the country. The ideas were highly appreciated for their novelty, feasibility and practical value.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh - Deputy Director in charge of the Board of Directors of the Banking Academy said that we are living in the context of the strong development of the 4.0 industrial revolution, where innovative startups have become a trend, a key development strategy of each country, including Vietnam.
“In line with that general orientation, the Banking Academy always identifies the work of building and developing a startup ecosystem among students as a top priority task. After 9 seasons of organization, the STARTUP BA competition has affirmed its important role. This is not just a competition, but has become a solid premise for projects participating in higher-level competitions, giving wings to ideas to become reality,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh affirmed.
Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh also emphasized that STARTUP BA not only finds potential ideas, but is also a launching pad to help students equip themselves with problem-solving thinking, practical experience and a valuable support network. The excellent projects of the competition will continue to be supported by the Banking Academy to represent them in national and equivalent startup competitions in the future.

After a journey of more than five months, the competition has selected the Top 5 best teams to participate in the final night including Feather, AI2Sign, InnoSpark, Ecoverse and Hydrotech. Before appearing on the final stage, the teams passed two intense rounds: Project introduction through video and media interaction, and presentation - debate round to evaluate the feasibility, creativity and ability to defend the project before the jury.

During the competition night, each team brought their own approach, reflecting on current issues such as educational technology, AI in financial services, environmental solutions or digitalizing business models. The atmosphere became more exciting when the teams entered the debate section - where the contestants demonstrated their mettle, argumentative ability and sharp analytical thinking. The experts on the jury highly appreciated the maturity and daring spirit of this year's teams.

After the dramatic competitions, the jury awarded the first prize to InnoSpark team, and the second prize to Feather, AI2Sign, Ecoverse and Hydrotech teams.
