Seventeen teams from various agencies and units within the 320th Division participated in the competition.
Accordingly, the judging panel scored the entire process, from ingredient preparation to packaging, preservation, and cooking in the kitchen. The criteria included: detailed planning and instructions; selection and preservation of banana leaves and binding strings meeting requirements; organization of training and implementation of packaging in two phases; ensuring the correct ratio of the two types of cakes; and finished cakes that were square, firm, of sufficient weight, well-cooked, and aesthetically pleasing.

At the end of the competition, first prize went to Battalion 2, Regiment 48; second prize went to Battalion 1, Regiment 48; and two third prizes were awarded to Regiment 52 and the kitchen of Battalion 16.

The competition not only helps officers and soldiers hone their skills and standardize the method of wrapping cakes to better serve logistical needs during Tet, but also contributes to preserving the traditional culture of the nation within the military environment.
