Free repair of more than 2,800 electrical devices for people in Hoa Thinh commune after the flood

From November 29 to December 2, the Ho Chi Minh City Refrigeration Association Volunteer Group led by Mr. Nguyen Ke Tu was present in Hoa Thinh commune to support people in repairing electrical equipment damaged after floods.

Mr. Nguyen Ke Tu said the group's trip was connected through a friend, in order to promptly help people in the "flood center" of Hoa Thinh stabilize their lives when many household items were deeply flooded and damaged.

People of Hoa Thinh commune brought damaged electrical equipment after floods to the reception point to receive free repair support.

The group of 35 skilled workers brought along a full range of tools, materials and spare parts. During their stay in the locality, the members organized many reception points, checked and repaired free of charge equipment such as refrigerators, washing machines, water filters, steam fans, rice cookers, etc.

Notably, all spare parts are purchased by the group itself, and people do not have to pay any fees.

According to statistics, in just 4 days, the Ho Chi Minh City Refrigeration Association Volunteer Group repaired more than 2,800 appliances for households, with a total estimated value of repair work and spare parts of over 710 million VND.

The support activities of the delegation have contributed to helping people in Hoa Thinh commune quickly restore their living conditions after the natural disaster, while demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and solidarity of the community towards localities still facing many difficulties after the flood.
