House repair for poor households in Kim Thanh commune

The repaired house helps Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nguyet's family in Minh Tien village, Kim Thanh commune reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives.

On December 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Youth Union of Kim Thanh commune coordinated with the Kim Thanh Charity Association to hand over a repaired house to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet, who is in difficult circumstances in Minh Tien village, Kim Thanh commune.

Ms. Nguyet's husband has cancer, she herself is often sick, has no stable job, and is taking care of 2 young children. For many years, Ms. Nguyet's family has lived in a seriously degraded house, not safe during storms. Therefore, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Kim Thanh Commune Youth Union connected with the Kim Thanh Charity Association and the village to support the repair of Ms. Nguyet's house.

After nearly 1 month of repair, the house was completed and handed over to the family for use. The total repair cost was nearly 40 million VND, of which the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune allocated 5 million VND from the "For the Poor" fund; the Commune Youth Union and Kim Thanh Charity Association mobilized socialized funds for the remaining cost. The Party cell and sub-chapters of Minh Tien village supported working days for the repair.

The repaired house helps Ms. Nguyet's family reduce difficulties and stabilize their life.
