Investment project to build a new urban area in the South of Ben Tre City, My Thanh An Commune, Ben Tre City, adjusted the planned area from 87.95 hectares to 24.12 hectares.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council amended and supplemented 6 land plots for bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Ben Tre province. This move aims to review and update in accordance with planning, land use needs and practical development conditions in the locality.
These 6 land plots include: (1) Ba Tri New Urban Area Construction Investment Project, An Binh Tay Commune, Ba Tri Town, Ba Tri District, adjusted the expected area from 20.8ha to 21.02ha; (2) Ben Tre New Urban Area Construction Investment Project, My Thanh An Commune, Ben Tre City, adjusted the expected area from 87.95ha to 24.12ha; (3) An Duc Residential Area Project, An Duc Commune, Ba Tri District, expected area of about 4.7ha, this is a supplementary project; (4) Thanh Loi Wind Power Plant, Thanh Phu District, supplementary project; (5) Tiem Tom Wind Power Plant, Ba Tri District, supplementary project; (6) Thoi Thuan Wind Power Plant, Binh Dai District, supplementary project.
At the same time, the province also decided to cancel 6 land plots for bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Ben Tre province, including: (1) Investment project to build Phuoc My Trung new urban area, Mo Cay Bac district, location Phuoc My Trung town, Mo Cay Bac district; (2) Investment project to develop My Thanh An new urban area, Ben Tre city, My Thanh An commune, Ben Tre city; (3) Investment project to develop Dong Khoi new urban area, Ben Tre city, location Son Dong commune, Phu Tan ward, Ben Tre city; (4) Investment project to build a new urban area along Ham Luong river, Ben Tre city, Ward 7, Binh Phu commune, Ben Tre city; (5) Investment project to build a new urban area in the West, Ben Tre city, Ward 6, Ward 7, Binh Phu commune, Ben Tre city; (6) Investment project to develop a new urban area - ecological urban area of Ben Tre city. Ben Tre, Ward 8, Phu Khuong Ward, Phu Hung Commune, Ben Tre City.
This adjustment of the list demonstrates the province’s initiative in planning and managing land funds, especially in the context of increasing demand for urban development, housing and resettlement. At the same time, eliminating unsuitable land plots helps avoid wasting resources and creates more favorable conditions for attracting investors.
