Youthful creative entrepreneurship

The vegetable and fruit growing model of union members Bui Truong Linh and Nguyen Van Cong in Binh Ca commune brings in an income of over 270 million VND/year.

The province currently has more than 80,000 union members and young people operating in 169 union bases. In recent times, the union at all levels has promoted training and fostering of entrepreneurial skills for union members with dozens of training courses, attracting over 25,000 young people to participate, helping to improve capacity, boldly start businesses and develop economic models. Up to now, the province has more than 100 cooperatives owned by young people, over 100 economic models supported for development and more than 20 products meeting OCOP standards, creating jobs for thousands of young workers, contributing to promoting rural economic development.

Typical are effective youth start-up models such as: Raising herbal chickens of Ms. Phung Thi Huyen (Tan Thanh commune) with an income of 300 million VND/year; Raising commercial goats of Mr. Duong Van Nam (Hong Son commune) with an income of 400 million VND/year; Raising commercial black pigs and growing local green pears of Mr. Giang Seo Quang (Xin Man commune) with an income of 400 million VND/year.

In particular, in Ha Giang 2 ward, the model of growing Ha Den grapes combined with experiential tourism of Mr. Vang Mi Seo, born in 1996, is a prominent example. Taking advantage of the land and natural landscape in Lung Puc residential group, Mr. Seo boldly invested nearly 1 hectare of land to grow Ha Den grapes. After nearly two years of starting a business, his vineyard has an income of about 200 million VND/year, while creating seasonal jobs for 4-5 workers. Not only stopping at agricultural production, Mr. Seo also combines the development of eco-tourism, agricultural experiences, attracting tourists to visit, pick grapes, enjoy clean agricultural products... His model is evaluated by the Ha Giang 2 ward Youth Union as a typical example of creative youth start-ups.

The model of raising yellow and black chickens of Mr. Dinh Xuan Nam, Vi Xuyen commune brings in an income of over 200 million VND/year.

To deepen the youth start-up movement, Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union proactively connects experts, young entrepreneurs, and start-up consultants to accompany and guide young people in each stage of project development. Short-term training courses on business planning, branding, risk management, and trade promotion are regularly held at the grassroots level, helping union members and young people improve their knowledge and practical skills.

In addition, the Provincial Youth Union also coordinates with the Social Policy Bank, the National Employment Fund and businesses to create favorable conditions for loans for young entrepreneurs. Funds to support young entrepreneurs and the Youth Innovation Fund continue to be maintained, while calling for more socialized capital to support potential projects, motivating young people to boldly start and establish their own businesses.

The goal of the Provincial Youth Union is to form a dynamic, creative and sustainable young startup ecosystem. In the coming time, we will continue to encourage projects to exploit the province's agricultural and tourism potential, expand training on project planning skills, presentation and calling for investment capital for young people”.

Each successful start-up model not only brings stable income, but also demonstrates the courage, intelligence and aspiration of young people to contribute in the journey of building a rich, civilized and livable homeland.
