From March 27-28, the Organizing Committee of the 29th South Central and Central Highlands Photo Festival 2024 launched a Marathon photo contest for authors participating in the festival with the theme " Da Nang in the festival season".
There were 211 works by 81 authors participating in the Marathon competition. As a result, author Phan Cong Chanh (born in 1995), from Binh An, Thang Binh, won first prize with the work "Sparkling Ngu Hanh Son".
Second Prize went to authors Pham Thi Thanh Thuy (Da Nang) with the work "Understanding and Loving", Phan Dinh Trung (Binh Dinh) with the work "Releasing flower lanterns to pray for peace". Third Prize went to authors: Nguyen Anh Cuong, Pham Thi Thanh Thuy and Le Tho, all from Da Nang.
Author Phan Cong Chanh shared that he has been pursuing a career in filming and photography for 5 years and is currently the Director of Crystal Media Company Limited. Regarding the award-winning work, he said it was a stroke of luck when he caught a sparkling moment on Ngu Hanh Son. This is also the motivation for him to continue pursuing his passion for photography.
