Accident on Da Nang - Quang Ngai highway, 13 people injured and dead

QNgTV- On the morning of December 9, a particularly serious traffic accident occurred on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai highway, leaving behind heartbreaking consequences with 13 casualties.

The accident occurred at around 4am this morning, at Km71+200 of the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway (in Bich Ngo village, Tam Xuan commune, Da Nang city) between a 16-seat passenger van and a tractor-trailer driven by Bui Manh Thang (born in 1982; residing in Hai Phong city).

The collision killed three passengers on the bus on the spot, and injured 10 others who were taken to Quang Nam General Hospital for emergency treatment, including three victims in serious condition. The vehicles were severely damaged.

Police and rescue units quickly arrived, directed traffic, and examined the scene.

The cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
