The above mentioned Javan pangolins were victims of illegal trafficking, rescued by authorities and taken care of, and after a period of recovery were released "home".
According to Save Vietnam's Wildlife, before being "home", these Java pangolins had to go through a long and difficult journey, such as: health check-ups, treatment of wounds and diseases, monitoring of each eating habit, ensuring appropriate nutrition, and observing natural reflexes such as digging burrows, curling up for self-defense or searching for food... in a nurturing environment close to nature, helping the Java pangolins gradually recover their natural behavior.

After a long period of monitoring and care, all individuals meet the health, physical condition and natural instinct standards to be able to reintegrate into the wild environment.
This release of the Javan pangolin is not only to preserve a rare and endangered animal, but also to remind people of their responsibility in preserving nature and the habitat of wild animals. Among them, the Javan pangolin - a critically endangered species listed in the Red Book (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
