Long An Provincial People's Committee will temporarily suspend the organization of the 10th Long An Provincial Sports Festival in 2025 - 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, based on the actual situation after the communes, wards and provinces and cities have completed the merger of administrative units under the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, to advise the Provincial People's Committee to adjust and amend the organization of the 10th Long An Provincial Sports Festival in 2025-2026 to suit practical requirements. The time to complete the organization of the Sports Festival at all levels is by the end of May 2026. At the same time, guide the localities after the merger to develop plans and regulations for organizing the grassroots Sports Festival to ensure compliance with regulations.
With these adjustments, localities will have more time to prepare, in order to improve the quality of organizing the 10th Sports Congress, aiming at the goal of developing the sports movement more and more strongly.
