Detained two subjects using homemade guns to shoot at karaoke bar

(HNMO) - Due to a previous conflict, two subjects rode a motorbike and brought a homemade gun to shoot at a karaoke bar in Ha Bang commune, Thach That district.

On June 10, Thach That District Police ( Hanoi ) announced that they were temporarily detaining Nguyen Van Hai (born in 1989; in Van Loi village, Binh Yen commune, Thach That district, Hanoi), and Nguyen Tien Luat (born in 1991; in Yen My village, Binh Yen commune, Thach That district, Hanoi) to investigate and handle the act of disturbing public order.

Homemade gun.

On June 6, Thach That District Police received a complaint from Mr. VVM (born in 1998; in Binh Yen Commune, Thach That District, Hanoi) about a case of disturbing public order.

Conducting verification, the police initially determined that due to a previous conflict, at around 10:00 p.m. on May 30, Nguyen Van Hai and Nguyen Tien Luat rode a motorbike together and brought a homemade gun to Mr. M's karaoke bar in Ha Bang commune, Thach That district.

Upon arrival, Hai sat on the back of a motorbike and fired a shot that hit the shop's rolling door. The bullet penetrated inside but did not hit anyone. After that, Hai and Luat went to the rented room of Mr. M's sister in Ha Bang commune (born in 1990). Here, Hai continued to fire two shots and then returned to Mr. M's karaoke bar. Seeing Mr. M standing in front of the shop door, Hai fired a shot that hit the iron frame of the rolling door. After that, Hai and Luat took the gun home to hide.

On June 7, Hai and Luat went to Thach That District Police to surrender and hand over the gun. The case is under investigation.
