Today (December 3), the Vietnamese women's team continued to have two training sessions in Chonburi (Thailand) to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games campaign.
In the morning, the coaching staff focused on physical exercises to keep the players in good shape. In the afternoon, the team switched to tactical training, focusing on the ability to organize attacks, defend, and cohesion in team coordination.
The atmosphere of the training session was very positive with high concentration from all members. Notably in the lineup this time was the appearance of promising young faces.
A typical example is Nguyen Thi Kim Yen - a player who participated in the SEA Games for the first time. Sharing her feelings about this memorable milestone, Kim Yen could not hide her happiness: "I am very happy and excited to be on the list this time. Before, when watching the girls compete, I always wished to participate in at least one SEA Games and now that has come true."

Despite being a rookie, Kim Yen showed great confidence and determination before the match against Malaysia. She emphasized: "The whole team is focusing on preparing carefully, absolutely not being subjective and aiming for the goal of winning all 3 points in the opening match."
Talking about her goals, the young female player said: "If the coaching staff trusts me and gives me the opportunity to play, I will try my best to bring the best results for the team," Kim Yen affirmed.
The new recruit of the Vietnamese women's team expressed her hope that home fans will always follow and support, giving the team more strength to compete with all their might and bring home the highest results at the congress.
Vietnam women's team will face Malaysia at 6:30 p.m. on December 5.
