Vice Chairman of Tan Hung District People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for urging State budget collection in the district - Le Thanh Yen directed the State budget collection work in the second quarter of 2024.

In the first quarter of 2024, Tan Hung district collected over 28 billion VND in state budget revenue. Overall budget revenue in the first quarter was below the average rate, but compared to the same period, it grew strongly , due to land use fees transferred from the previous year. If excluding land use fees , the balanced revenue reached nearly 20% of the provincial estimate and nearly 19 % of the district estimate .

The district found that only the household business sector achieved a relatively higher average rate due to the fact that at the beginning of the year, the revenue was closely monitored and collection measures were taken decisively right from the beginning of the month and quarter. The remaining sectors all achieved lower average revenue rates due to the following reasons: The non-state enterprises in the area are mainly in the construction sector, generating value added tax and low corporate income due to not receiving winning bids for construction.

The personal income tax sector, due to the transfer situation, is showing signs of recovery but is still sluggish. The land use fee collection sector, due to the auction of areas C1, C2, and Go Thuyen in the second quarter. The non- agricultural tax sector, due to the debt collection in the first 3 months of the year, will only issue collection notices in April according to regulations.

Through the assessment of each field, the conference focused on discussing solutions to achieve the set targets for state budget collection in the second quarter and the whole year. Notably, it is necessary to exploit revenue sources from bird's nest houses, fees, ferry terminals, land use rights transfer, land price differences, communal benefits; the establishment of a garbage fee collection unit...
