On the afternoon of April 6, Tan Tru District Police coordinated with Tan Tru District Youth Union to organize a propaganda session on fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills at Nguyen Thanh Nam Secondary School. Attending the program were Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Tien Huy - Officer of the Administrative Police Team for Social Order, Tan Tru District Police, representatives of District Youth Union officers; Mr. Truong Van Loc - Party cell secretary, principal of Nguyen Thanh Nam Secondary School and 200 students of the school.
During the propaganda session, the school's staff, teachers and students were informed by the officers of the Administrative Police Team for Social Order, Tan Tru District Police about the situation and causes of recent fires, explosions, accidents and incidents, and the contents of some legal documents on fire prevention and fighting and rescue. At the same time, they were instructed on some measures to ensure fire safety at home and school; how to handle fire and explosion incidents; and escape skills in case of fire.
At the propaganda session, school teachers and students were instructed on how to practice fire handling procedures, how to use some on-site fire extinguishers and equipment to extinguish the fire.
The propaganda session has contributed to equipping students and teachers of the school with necessary knowledge related to fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue. This propaganda work will contribute to building awareness and responsibility in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue for the younger generation, contributing to building a more comprehensive fire prevention and firefighting movement./.
