In implementing the Vinh Long Provincial Police's plan for a high-intensity campaign to attack and suppress crime, ensuring security and order during the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, and other major national events, early year festivals, and the plan for periodic fire prevention and control inspections in January 2026, the Fire Prevention and Control and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police is concentrating its forces, equipment, and measures to conduct a comprehensive review and inspection of fire prevention and control and rescue at all facilities under its management in the province.
The inspection content includes the fulfillment of fire prevention and rescue responsibilities by the head of the facility; the provision of fire prevention and rescue equipment and systems, electrical systems for fire fighting, and fire fighting water sources as prescribed; the maintenance of operation of fire prevention and rescue equipment and electrical systems, and fire fighting water sources; the installation and maintenance of fire alarm communication equipment connected to the database system on fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue, and relief as prescribed…

Through review and inspection work, inspectors directly disseminate and guide measures to ensure fire safety, rectify shortcomings in fire prevention and control, provide escape and rescue skills, teach how to use, maintain, and service fire fighting equipment, and how to regularly self-inspect fire safety and rescue conditions at the facility.
