The event was hosted by the People's Government of Fangchenggang City, Guangxi, China, with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Health , hospitals, medical associations and enterprises of Vietnam and China.
At the conference, many new generation medical devices being applied in hospitals in Guangxi, China were introduced such as: oxygen booster system that increases oxygen concentration 3-4 times compared to conventional devices; superconducting MRI machine that does not use liquid helium, is safe and gives clearer images; equipment to support inflammation treatment, reduce side effects on the liver and kidneys when using drugs.

Speaking at the conference, Le Ba, Deputy Head of the Office of the Open Pilot Zone for International Healthcare, Fangchenggang, emphasized the city's role as an international gateway connecting by land and sea with ASEAN. Mr. Le Ba said that since 2016, the "1369 - direct lifeline" model between the two countries has provided timely support for emergency care in many cases in the border area.
The leaders of the Pilot Zone Office expressed their wish to use this platform to train human resources with the Vietnamese side, cooperate in cross-border medical care, and develop the rich traditional medical resources of both countries.
Representative of the Department of Infrastructure and Medical Equipment (Ministry of Health) - Mr. Doan Quang Minh commented that the cooperation in the field of health between Vietnam and China has a long history and a solid foundation. The RCEP Agreement is opening up great opportunities for cooperation by removing many technical and tariff barriers.

Mr. Doan Quang Minh also shared that Vietnam is harmonizing management regulations according to ASEAN and world standards, and applying a mechanism to recognize licensing results from prestigious international management agencies, including the National Medical Products Administration of China (NMPA), to facilitate product circulation.
Sharing with reporters on the sidelines of the conference, Mr. Tran Canh Ky, Chairman of Zhen Xiang Tang Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (Guangxi) expressed his desire to bring advanced medical endoscopy products with high technology, quality and reasonable cost to the Vietnamese market to serve patients.
According to him, the increasing demand for disease diagnosis and treatment in Vietnam is the driving force for the company to provide suitable technology solutions. The company also hopes to increase interaction and learn from local doctors and research facilities to understand the actual needs, thereby developing specialized products.

In the afternoon of the same day, the 2025 Medical Equipment Trade Talks also took place with direct connection sessions, creating conditions for businesses of both sides to find partners and expand the market.
