In 2025, the coordination of sea and island propaganda work between Naval Region 1 and the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committees of the provinces continued to be implemented systematically, comprehensively and effectively. The units organized 17 live propaganda sessions for more than 9,200 cadres, party members, teachers, students and fishermen, with the content focusing on the situation in the East Sea, the task of protecting sovereignty and the results of building a modern Navy.

Many cooperation models have left clear marks such as the program "Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go offshore", the activity "Navy sponsors fishermen's children", propaganda to attract high-quality human resources, and at the same time organizing over 630 news, articles and reports widely spread on the media.
In Nghe An , the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department coordinated with Brigade 169 to organize propaganda for more than 200 cadres and party members, and at the same time, deployed human resource attraction work with the participation of more than 700 teachers and students. Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television also produced and published hundreds of reports and articles; increased the application of information technology and digital transformation in propaganda work on sea and islands.

Propaganda work on seas and islands has contributed to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party, the management and administration of the State, the ability to protect the sovereignty of seas and islands of the Vietnam People's Navy; not wavering before the negative impacts, incitement and sabotage of hostile forces, causing instability in security, politics, order and social safety in the area; encouraging and sharing the difficulties and hardships of the forces that are standing firm day and night at the forefront of the waves and winds, firmly protecting the sacred territorial sovereignty of the Fatherland.
The conference also discussed and clarified some limitations in the coordination process such as the infrequent frequency of information, the lack of diverse forms of propaganda, and the difficulty in attracting high-quality resources.

On that basis, delegates proposed many solutions to enhance coordination effectiveness in 2026, emphasizing innovation in propaganda content and methods; promoting the application of digital technology; expanding practical activities, exchanges, and twinning; strengthening the training of reporters; organizing working delegations to visit and encourage soldiers and people in coastal and island areas.

Concluding the conference, Rear Admiral Tran Xuan Van - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Naval Region 1 affirmed that the close coordination between the Navy and localities is an important source of strength, contributing to strengthening trust, fostering patriotism and raising awareness in protecting sovereignty over seas and islands. At the same time, he requested the provinces to continue to accompany and effectively implement the coordination plan for 2026, creating a new step in propaganda work on seas and islands in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Navy Command and certificates of merit from the Naval Region 1 Command to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating propaganda work on seas and islands in 2025; and signed a propaganda coordination program in 2026.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 26, the working delegation of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and the Naval Region 1 Command, together with leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Departments of the Provincial Party Committees of Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Tuyen Quang and Hai Phong city, offered incense at the Memorial Site of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh and the Memorial House of Lieutenant General Nguyen Binh in Nguyen Van Linh commune, Hung Yen province.
