Identifying propaganda as a key task, departments and branches have strengthened coordination and diversified forms of information dissemination to cadres, civil servants, public employees, businesses and people. The content focuses on new policies of the Party and State on international economic integration; Vietnam's commitments in new generation FTAs such as CPTPP, EVFTA, UKVFTA, RCEP, VIFTA, Vietnam - UAE; at the same time, guiding businesses to take advantage of tariff incentives, rules of origin, technical standards and effectively handle trade barriers.
The province regularly compiles and provides information on the market, tariffs, import-export situation and related policies, including US reciprocal taxes, to help businesses promptly adapt, expand markets and improve product quality. Through coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies, businesses are updated on technical requirements, trade defense regulations and import-export management practices. Training courses are organized in person and online, focusing on market access, intellectual property, sustainable development, digital transformation... with special attention to supporting small and medium enterprises.
At the same time, the province has promoted innovation in trade promotion activities, expanding domestic and foreign supply-demand connections. Trade programs and product promotion, especially agricultural products, are regularly organized to support businesses, cooperatives and business households to access international markets. At the same time, it focuses on promoting culture, image and development potential; mobilizing overseas Vietnamese resources, especially Phu Tho intellectuals and businessmen abroad.
Since the beginning of 2025, the province has organized many investment promotion delegations abroad; welcomed and worked with corporations and enterprises from countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan (China), China, Thailand, Germany, Switzerland, India... At the same time, compiled and provided investment promotion documents to the Ministry of Finance , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to promote the investment environment and development opportunities of Phu Tho.
The province attaches special importance to promoting on-site investment, focusing on removing difficulties and creating favorable conditions for active investors. Administrative reform is promoted; infrastructure of industrial parks and industrial clusters continues to be improved; clean land, traffic connections and human resource training are focused on, creating conditions ready to welcome new projects.
Thanks to synchronous and flexible solutions, by the end of October 2025, the province had attracted FDI capital of 1,219 million USD, an increase of 84% over the same period and equal to 115.1% of the 2025 growth target; DDI capital is estimated at 61.3 trillion VND, nearly 3 times higher than the same period, reaching 71% of the 2025 target.
Aiming to be among the top 10 localities with the highest Provincial Green Index (PGI) in the country by 2030, Phu Tho focuses on planning, expanding and synchronizing the infrastructure system of industrial parks and clusters; strongly improving the PCI, PAR Index and SIPAS; attracting investment in high technology, supporting industries, high-tech agriculture, eco-cultural tourism. Strengthening cooperation with large corporations from Japan, Korea, EU, US... to grasp the trend of shifting global supply chains; strengthening investment promotion, market research, expanding international connections; at the same time maintaining business dialogue, improving the business environment and promoting the local image.
At the meeting with Korean agencies, organizations and enterprises, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized: With an increasingly large population, expanded development space and increasingly strong resources, Phu Tho is focusing on perfecting logistics, industrial, urban and service infrastructure, creating an important foundation to receive quality and sustainable FDI capital flows. The province is committed to maintaining a regular dialogue channel between the government and enterprises, promoting on-site investment promotion, supporting production expansion, and strengthening business connections. At the same time, Phu Tho hopes that FDI enterprises will cooperate extensively with local enterprises, contributing to improving production capacity, governance, technological innovation and effectively participating in the global supply chain.
