Accordingly, the Ministry requests that agencies and units, based on their assigned functions and tasks and the 2026 work plan, proactively integrate and organize appropriate propaganda activities, closely following Guidance No. 45-HD/BTGDVTW dated December 31, 2025, of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Specifically, the Ministry assigned the Department of Performing Arts to preside over the organization of celebratory art programs and special art programs for each event; and to launch the creation of literary and artistic works for propaganda purposes. The Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Libraries guided localities in organizing propaganda activities, mobile propaganda festivals, competitions, performances, exhibitions, and displays of books, newspapers, and documents; and at the same time directed the National Library of Vietnam to organize seminars and thematic exhibitions.
The Department of Cultural Heritage is tasked with guiding localities in protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage associated with historical events; coordinating the appraisal and implementation of projects for the restoration of historical sites, museum exhibitions, and traditional education . The Department of Cinema organizes film weeks and film campaigns for propaganda purposes; the Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibitions directs fine arts, photography, and exhibition activities in localities.
In addition, the Vietnam Sports Department will direct and organize celebratory sports events; the Vietnam National Tourism Administration will guide the development of tours and routes to revolutionary landmarks and historical sites. The Press Department, the Radio, Television and Electronic Information Department, the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information, and the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution will strengthen guidance and direction of propaganda across various forms of media, publishing, grassroots information, and cyberspace; and coordinate in preventing and handling false and distorted information. The Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio will lead and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to produce and supplement documentary films as requested by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to serve the propaganda commemorating major holidays and important historical events in 2026.
The synchronized implementation of propaganda activities commemorating major holidays and important historical events in 2026 contributes to educating about revolutionary traditions, fostering national pride, and strengthening the people's confidence in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
