Giving gifts to Agent Orange/dioxin victims affected by storms and floods

QTO - On November 12, in Dien Sanh commune, the Association of People with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims, Support for People with Disabilities and Protection of Children's Rights of Quang Tri province in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin organized a program to visit and give gifts to victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the province affected by storm No. 12.

On this occasion, through the sponsorship of Son Duc Dat Company Limited, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin supported Quang Tri province with 150 million VND to give 125 gifts to victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin affected by storm No. 12; each gift is worth 1.2 million VND.

Of these, 21 cases were supported in 3 communes: Dien Sanh, My Thuy and Nam Hai Lang. These are localities located in the low-lying areas of the southern Quang Tri province. In particular, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin are disadvantaged and vulnerable to the effects of natural disasters and storms.

This is an activity within the program to support victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in localities that have suffered damage due to natural disasters in recent times. Thereby, it demonstrates the heart and concern of the Association and the whole society for victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, helping them to soon stabilize their lives.
