Currently, all 34 provinces and cities have synchronized their land databases with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , covering approximately 62.4 million land parcels. About 43.2 million parcels remain undatasetted. In response to the government's requirement to accelerate the completion of the national land database this year, ensuring it is "accurate, complete, clean, and up-to-date," localities are employing various flexible implementation methods.
Each month, wards and communes in Bac Ninh province are assigned a specific target to complete land data statistics. This ensures that data is continuously updated, preventing accumulation and overload for those responsible for the task.
Bac Ninh province currently has over 900,000 land parcels for which no database has been established. Given the large volume of work, the local authorities have formed working groups to support communes and wards in reviewing and standardizing the data. This process has received the support of the people. Because the synchronized data is integrated, it allows people to proactively check planning information and land use history.
To complete the land data cleanup this year, several localities such as Thanh Hoa and Quang Ninh have launched intensive campaigns. This is an important solution to shift from managing traditional paper files to establishing a digital data platform, forming modern land management practices, and facilitating information retrieval and management for both citizens and officials.
