(Baohatinh.vn) - Ha Tinh is accelerating the popularization of the i-HaTinh digital citizen application, which integrates a platform for reporting incidents, gradually expanding the connection channel between citizens and the government in the digital space.

After a session following the guidance of the community digital transformation team, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa from Xuan An 9 village, Nghi Xuan commune, learned how to use many features in the i-HaTinh application. Like many other residents, Mr. Hoa was very impressed with the feature for reporting incidents.

Mr. Hoa shared: “Previously, when problems arose in daily life or in the residential area, people had to write letters and find the right place to send them to in order to get them resolved. Now, through the application, with just a swipe or tap on the screen, they can report to the authorities for timely resolution and handling. In addition, the application also has many convenient features that are very suitable for people such as official news, weather information, public services…”.

In Nghi Xuan commune, the popularization of the i-HaTinh application is becoming a widespread campaign reaching every residential area. Mr. Phan Duy Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Nghi Xuan Commune People's Committee, said: "From officials, Party members, community digital transformation teams to union members, women's association members, and local police forces, everyone has been mobilized to guide and support people in installing and using the application."

Numerous direct support points have been set up at village cultural centers, schools, and residential areas, prioritizing the elderly and those unfamiliar with using smartphones. Along with the integration of electronic transaction accounts, digital signatures, and synchronization with VNeID electronic identification, i-HaTinh is gradually becoming a "digital bridge" between the government and the people.

To date, Nghi Xuan commune has 5,000 accounts that have installed i-HaTinh.

In particular, besides disseminating information and providing guidance on installation and usage, Nghi Xuan commune also focuses on handling feedback upon receipt. This has fostered trust and satisfaction among the people.

This decisive approach is helping Nghi Xuan become one of the localities with the highest i-HaTinh installation rates in the entire province. To date, the locality has nearly 5,000 installed accounts, reaching almost 20% of the population aged 18 and above.

On the weekend, Loc Ha commune organized a training course, mobilizing officials, civil servants, and members of the community digital transformation team to participate in learning, practicing, installing, and using the application.

In Loc Ha commune, the goal of popularizing the i-HaTinh application is also beginning to be implemented systematically, with local officials as the core force. Even on weekends, the locality organizes training classes, mobilizing officials, civil servants, and members of the community digital transformation team to participate in learning, installing, and using the application.

Beyond simply mastering their own skills, after training, this force will continue to spread out to villages and residential areas to directly guide people, especially farmers and the elderly, in accessing digital platforms.

The process of popularizing i-HaTinh is being implemented with the aim of fostering a habit of digital interaction between citizens and the government.

Along with Nghi Xuan and Loc Ha, the i-HaTinh app rollout campaign in Ha Tinh is being implemented with the aim of fostering digital interaction habits between citizens and the government. After more than two months of operation, the i-HaTinh app has been installed over 90,000 times in the province. Some localities have achieved high installation rates, including Son Hong, Nghi Xuan, Huong Son, Son Giang, Cam Xuyen, and Thanh Sen.

To date, through the i-HaTinh application and the 19009038 hotline, the system has received more than 2,500 feedback and suggestions from citizens (over 1,600 on-site reports via the application; nearly 400 suggestions via the application; and over 500 feedback and suggestions via the hotline). Specifically for on-site reports via the application, nearly 1,100 eligible reports have been received and distributed to relevant agencies; nearly 1,000 reports have been processed, over 150 are currently being processed, and there are no overdue reports.

To date, the i-HaTinh application has been installed more than 90,000 times throughout the province.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of the Center for Science , Technology and Digital Transformation in Ha Tinh, stated: “Ha Tinh aims to have at least 30% of its population aged 18 and above install, register, and use i-HaTinh by the end of 2026, equivalent to over 344,000 accounts. To further popularize i-HaTinh, the province will focus on mobilizing all localities, organizations, community digital transformation groups, police forces, schools, and telecommunications businesses to support people in installing, registering, and using the application. Priority will be given to direct guidance at the grassroots level, especially for the elderly and those unfamiliar with smartphones. The goal is not only to increase the number of accounts but, more importantly, to improve the efficiency of use and the quality of handling on-site reports.”

According to the leaders of the Center for Science, Technology and Digital Transformation, the picture of "popularization" is still uneven, with many places having low installation rates, even below 2% in some localities. In reality, alongside localities that have done well, some still haven't effectively handled feedback on the platform, with slow resolution times and a lack of public satisfaction. This is an area that needs further improvement through increased accountability in handling issues, enhanced coordination between units, and regular monitoring of the quality of feedback resolution.
