On October 24, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized a press conference to introduce activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mai Vang Award and the 30th Mai Vang Award Ceremony.

The Mai Vang Award of the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper was established in 1995, after 4 years of successfully organizing the Most Favorite Artist of the Year Award. To date, the Mai Vang Award has turned 30 years old. The development journey of the Mai Vang Award over the past 30 years has connected the feelings between readers, audiences, artists in all fields and the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

During the 30-year journey of formation and development of the Mai Vang Award, the Organizing Committee has organized many improvements; brought artists to the audience - workers, students, pupils and people - in many provinces and cities across the country in the "Tien Mai Vang" tours.

In recent years, in addition to the votes of readers and audiences for artists in the entertainment categories awarded the Mai Vang Award, the Editorial Board of the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper also considered and awarded the "Lifetime Artist for the Community" award to People's Artist Kim Cuong and People's Artist Le Thuy; awarded the "Artist for the Community" and "Outstanding Artist for the Community" awards annually to MC Dai Nghia, Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh, MC Quyen Linh, rapper Den Vau, etc.

With the goal of innovating the way of organizing nominations and voting to create the best conditions for readers and audiences to accurately record the artistic achievements of artists after a year, the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the 30th Mai Vang Award are determined to create a breakthrough, elevating Mai Vang to become a national cultural and artistic award.

Mr. Bui Thanh Liem - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 30th Mai Vang Award - informed that the new feature of this year's Mai Vang Award is the combination of artists from the three regions of North - Central - South. On this occasion, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper also organized a photo exhibition "Journey of 30 years of Mai Vang Award", recreating the process of Mai Vang Award from its early days to the present. The exhibition displays memorable images, unforgettable moments... of Mai Vang Award.

On the night of January 8, 2025, the art program celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mai Vang Award and the 30th Mai Vang Award Ceremony will be held at the City Theater; broadcast live by VTV9, and reported online on the platforms of the Lao Dong Newspaper and its partners. This meaningful art night will honor artists who have achieved "30 Years of Mai Vang Achievements" - those who have won the Mai Vang Award and have maintained their achievements in artistic work, serving as a talented support for the younger generation of artists; in addition to presenting the Mai Vang Award to outstanding artists of the year.

I am very happy, excited and emotional when Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organizes Mai Vang Award and maintains it for the 30th year.
