Create strong changes in implementing tasks in the field of science and technology

(Dan Tri) - The national conference on training in science and education has practical significance in order to widely implement the Party's policies and resolutions on the field of science and education.

On November 12, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held a national conference to train science and education work in 2025. The conference was held in person and online at provincial and commune-level bridges nationwide.

Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Trinh Van Quyet said this is a meaningful activity to widely implement the Party's policies and resolutions on science and education.

At the same time, it contributes to strengthening unity in perception and action, creating strong changes in leadership, direction and organization of implementation of tasks in the field of science and technology in the entire political system, according to Mr. Quyet.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed that in recent years, especially since the 13th National Party Congress, the field of science and education has achieved many very important results, directly contributing to economic growth, social development, improving people's lives, and strengthening people's trust in the Party, the State and the socialist regime.

To effectively implement the Party's Resolutions, Mr. Quyet suggested focusing on key tasks, including raising awareness, unifying ideology and the strategic role of science and technology.

At the same time, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, goals and tasks on science and education that have been identified in the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, thematic resolutions of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Along with that, Mr. Quyet said that it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of advising, directing, guiding and inspecting scientific and educational work. Specify and organize the implementation of resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party, ensuring that advisory work goes ahead, is close to reality and has a vision and is highly effective.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized the need to innovate the content, methods, and style of scientific and educational work in a modern and practical direction. Promote digital transformation, apply artificial intelligence and big data in scientific and educational work; improve the effectiveness of propaganda about the Party's guidelines, linked to the practical interests of the people.

Mr. Quyet also requested promoting the combined strength of the entire political system, especially the coordination between propaganda, mass mobilization, science and education, and departments, ministries, branches and localities.

In addition, culture, people, moral education, lifestyle, and revolutionary ideals should become a solid spiritual foundation of society, creating a healthy cultural environment in every family, school, and community, and promoting skillful mass mobilization movements in the field of science and education, according to the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission also requested to take care of building a team of science and education cadres to meet the requirements of the new period. Science and education cadres must have strong political will, pure ethics and deep professional capacity, strategic vision, scientific and humanistic style.

The conference heard the leader of the Ministry of Science and Technology present a thematic report: "Requirements for breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation to meet the new situation".

Leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training presented a thematic report: "Results of implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on fundamental innovation in education and training; implementing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs and development of education and training; tasks of localities in advising on the implementation of this important Resolution".

The leaders of the Ministry of Health presented a thematic report: "Results of implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on people's health care and developing grassroots health care in recent times; tasks and solutions to implement Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health".
