Over the past period, with the close attention and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, along with the close coordination of departments, agencies, and localities, the provincial education and training sector has achieved many positive results. The network of schools and classrooms in the province has been expanded and rationally arranged, meeting the requirements of educational development in the new situation. School facilities have been invested in a synchronized and modern manner; many school buildings have been constructed and upgraded, gradually meeting national standards. Teaching equipment has been supplemented, contributing to meeting the requirements of innovative teaching methods and improving the quality of education.

In 2025, the 2018 General Education Program will be implemented synchronously throughout the province from grade 1 to grade 12. The quality of mass education will be maintained. The high school graduation exam will be conducted safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, with a graduation rate of 97.75%. In addition, advanced education will continue to flourish, with 65 students winning awards in the national excellent student selection exam, accounting for 43.9% of the province's total candidates. Policies and regulations related to vocational education will be given attention, creating opportunities for people to study at various levels. By the end of 2025, the rate of trained workers will reach 80.5%, of which 32.7% will have degrees or certificates.

Amidst the strong digital transformation taking place across all aspects of social life, the provincial education and training sector has witnessed significant changes in its management and operational methods. To date, 100% of administrative procedures in the education sector are publicly available and fully updated; many processes are implemented online, contributing to improved service efficiency for the people. The "paperless digital government" model has been widely implemented throughout the sector. In addition, the provincial education and training sector has connected the examination management system with the National Population Database; gradually implemented digital student records and digital diplomas, creating a foundation for unified and interconnected educational data management. The application of information technology, the exploitation of digital learning materials and digital platforms in teaching has been promoted, creating conditions for teachers to innovate teaching methods; students to be proactive and creative in their learning, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of education.
Striving to be among the top 15 provinces and cities nationwide.
According to Mr. Le Dinh Thuan, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Education and Training, education in Khanh Hoa is entering a new phase of development, especially in the context of the Provincial Party Committee having issued Resolution No. 01/2025 on the Strategy for Sustainable Development of Education and Training until 2035, with a vision to 2045. This resolution concretizes the policies and resolutions of the Central Government, especially Resolution No. 71/2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. Accordingly, education is not only placed at the center of the province's socio-economic development strategy but is also entrusted with the responsibility and mission of training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development. The resolution sets a goal that by 2030, Khanh Hoa's education will have made a breakthrough, ranking among the leading provinces in the region and in the top 15 nationwide. By 2045, Khanh Hoa will become a center for training high-quality human resources in renewable energy, digital transformation, and healthcare, meeting the needs of the province, the region, and the entire country.

To realize the above objectives, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to implement the resolutions of the Government and the Provincial Party Committee, focusing on 7 key tasks and solutions, including: Raising awareness, innovating thinking and actions, and determining strong political determination to achieve breakthroughs in education and training development; strongly reforming institutions, creating specific and superior mechanisms and policies for education and training development; strengthening comprehensive education in morality, intellect, physical fitness, and aesthetics, forming a system of values for Vietnamese people in the new era; comprehensive digital transformation, popularizing and strongly applying digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training. Along with that, focusing on building a team of qualified teachers and school facilities, improving the quality of preschool and general education; reforming and modernizing vocational education, creating breakthroughs in developing a highly skilled workforce; Modernizing and upgrading higher education, creating breakthroughs in the development of highly skilled human resources and talent, leading research and innovation; promoting deep cooperation and international integration in education and training.

The synchronized implementation of resolutions and strategies from the Central Government and the province will be a crucial driving force for the province's education and training sector to continue comprehensively reforming and improving quality; thereby contributing to building a high-quality workforce to meet the requirements of the province's rapid and sustainable development in the new period.
The province currently has nearly 800 educational institutions ranging from preschool and primary/secondary to vocational and continuing education, with nearly 448,000 students; and more than 21,300 administrators, teachers, and staff. Of these, 69% of public schools meet national standards; and 97.5% of teachers meet the training qualifications as stipulated in the Education Law.
