On the afternoon of May 18th, Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, worked with the ATK Son Duong Ethnic Boarding School on the results of implementing tasks for the 2025-2026 school year; preparations for the 2026 high school graduation exam; enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year; and the implementation of the " Education and Training Development Project until 2030, with a vision to 2045 in Tuyen Quang province".
In the 2025-2026 academic year, ATK Son Duong Ethnic Boarding High School will maintain a scale of 14 classrooms with nearly 99% of students being ethnic minorities. The school's facilities and information technology infrastructure are being gradually invested in to meet the requirements of educational reform and digital transformation in teaching. Currently, the school has 12 classrooms equipped with interactive smart screens and an internal internet connection for teaching purposes.

According to the school's report, the overall quality of education continues to improve. The percentage of students with a "Good" conduct rating reached 96.9%, and 99.5% at the high school level; there were no students with an unsatisfactory rating. Regarding academics, the percentage of students with a "Fair" or "Good" academic performance throughout the school reached 94%.
Besides mass education, the work of nurturing gifted students continues to achieve many outstanding results. The school has one student participating in the official team for the National Geography Olympiad; one science and technology project won first prize at the provincial level, ranked in the Top 6 nationwide, and won fourth prize at the national level.
The school's students also achieved high results in many online competitions at the national and international levels. At the FiSO Olympic competition, students won 17 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals, and 2 Bronze Medals at the international level. In the S-Race School Online competition, the school team ranked 13th nationwide.
Regarding preparations for the 2026 High School Graduation Examination, 100% of 12th-grade students have completed their exam registration as required. The school has developed a review plan with a target of 70 lessons per subject; and organized student classification to assign appropriate learning tasks. Through two mock exams organized by the Department of Education and Training, the school ranked 5th in the province and 2nd among specialized schools.
During the meeting, the school requested that the province allocate funds for repairing the electrical and clean water systems, restrooms, kitchen, and 72 student dormitory rooms; and invest in emergency escape staircases, a multi-purpose hall, or a covered area for the schoolyard to serve physical education activities and group activities.
Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, acknowledged and praised the achievements of the school in the past period. She also emphasized that ethnic boarding schools are a unique educational model, therefore, the teaching staff and management need to continue to improve their professional qualifications and the quality of care and education for students.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province also requested the school to promote digital transformation in management and teaching; and to pay attention to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity through the construction of a traditional room and introducing local cultural values and historical relics to students.
In particular, the school needs to prepare thoroughly for the 2026 High School Graduation Examination and the enrollment process for the next level of education, ensuring improved quality of incoming students and achieving the educational goals set forth.
