In the 2024-2025 school year, the province has built 148 classrooms and functional rooms, with a total cost of more than 141 billion VND; at the same time, mobilized more than 53,900 m² of land to expand the scale of schools. The Department of Education and Training also mobilized more than 18.9 billion VND from the community to support learning equipment, meals for preschool students, children with disabilities and many other school service items.

Entering the 2025-2026 school year, the sector will renovate and repair 13 affiliated schools with a budget of more than 16 billion VND. Cooperation projects with Bac Lieu province have also completed 9 schools with a total budget of 172.6 billion VND, serving the new school year in time. In addition, the Department of Education and Training is submitting and proposing many other investment projects with a total budget of nearly 263 billion VND.

Along with new construction and repairs, the industry focuses on investing in modern teaching equipment, standard restrooms, organizing 2 sessions/day and boarding, improving learning conditions for students and teaching conditions for teachers.

Mr. Luong Van Xuan, Vice Principal of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary School, commented: "The socialization movement in education is increasingly effective, many schools are upgraded and equipped with modern facilities, bringing a new look to Ca Mau education."

The completed projects are a testament to the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the whole society towards the cause of "growing people", contributing to improving the learning environment and enhancing the quality of education.

Investing in facilities also spreads the spirit of innovation in teaching and learning. Ms. Quach Thi Diem My, Tan Loi Primary School (Ho Thi Ky Commune), said: "Spacious classrooms and modern equipment help teachers innovate their methods, making students more interested in learning."

In Bien Bach commune, Tan Bang Secondary and High School was upgraded with a 20 billion VND donation from donors, meeting national standards, and put into use at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. Student Nguyen Hoang Son (grade 12A) shared: "The new school has many classrooms and modern equipment, making learning much more convenient."

These efforts help Ca Mau gradually realize the goal of building green, safe, friendly, quality schools, training human resources to serve socio-economic development. The Education and Training sector sets a target by 2030: 90% of schools meet national standards, 100% of schools have clean water and standard toilets, aiming for a comprehensive, modern and humane education.
