On the evening of November 15, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace ( Hanoi ), the Central Propaganda Department chaired and coordinated with Vietnam Television to organize the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2024" - Honoring typical examples nationwide in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. General Secretary To Lam attended and spoke at the program.
Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central External Relations Department, along with a number of Party Central Committee members, alternate members of the Party Central Committee; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
The program takes place in the context that the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people are striving to compete in studying, working, and creating to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress - a particularly important political event, and an occasion to summarize and evaluate 40 years of the Doi Moi process, which has created great and comprehensive achievements, helping Vietnam accumulate position and strength for breakthrough development in the next period.
This is the 6th year the "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration" Program has been organized. The difference of the 2024 Program compared to previous years' programs is the proud and emotional journey with programs "exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in 3 regions: the North organized in Thai Nguyen with the theme "Strong determination", the Central - Central Highlands in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) with the theme "Creative sails", the South in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme "Pioneer aspiration" to reach the National typical honor program with the theme "Innovation and development".

With 3 chapters: "Leading birds", "Flying far together" and "Aspiration to rise" in the special political art exchange program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2024", delegates, typical advanced examples nationwide in 2024, audiences nationwide were moved and emotional when watching the films, precious documents about the life and career of beloved President Ho Chi Minh; listening to stories about advanced examples; interacting, meeting, and discussing with historical witnesses, experts, famous people with prestige and positive influence on the social community; watching elaborate, unique, and emotional art performances. The stories told, the typical examples nationwide in the Program contributed to spreading the ideological values, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh to a large number of cadres, party members, and people.
Speaking at the Program, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that over the past 95 years, Ho Chi Minh's ideology together with Marxism-Leninism have become the guiding torch, leading the Vietnamese revolution under the leadership of the Party to overcome all difficulties, gain one victory after another, and create many miracles. That is the victory of the August Revolution, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the first people-led state in the history of the nation; the victory of the resistance war against French colonialism, culminating in the Dien Bien Phu victory "resounding throughout the five continents, shaking the earth", completely liberating the North; the victory of the resistance war against the US to save the country, unifying the country, uniting the North and the South; the victory of the renovation process after 40 years of implementation has brought our country and our people "on par with the great powers of the five continents", building a socialist society under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, bringing prosperity and happiness to the people.
The General Secretary was moved to share that there are many profound stories, typical examples of the movement to learn from and follow Uncle Ho with specific, simple but noble actions. Many models are creative, effective, rich in humanity, attractive and inspiring to the community. Although different in age, profession, position, in many different circumstances and fields, the advanced models are all shining examples of steadfastness, pioneering spirit, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, daring to innovate, being creative, daring to face difficulties, challenges and daring to act for the common good, dedicating themselves to working, studying and building the country. These are victories, simple results in everyday life but with great social significance; these are fragrant flowers in the forest of "thousands of good deeds"; they are examples that continue the example of learning from and following Uncle Ho, contributing to continuing the glorious pages of history in the Ho Chi Minh era.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam warmly congratulated and commended the collectives, individuals, and typical models honored in the Program and those who are striving every day and every hour to practice Uncle Ho's teachings: "Every day, try to do something beneficial for the country (benefiting the country means benefiting yourself), even if it is a small thing, then in a year we can do 365 things. Many small benefits add up to big benefits".
The General Secretary expressed his eternal gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and people, the national liberation hero, the exemplary international communist soldier, the outstanding cultural celebrity, the embodiment of the quintessence of Vietnamese intelligence and spirit; we see more clearly the urgent need to continuously study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style at a new level, creating a strong momentum to bring the country firmly into a new era, an era of development, an era of prosperity, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as President Ho Chi Minh wished and the aspiration of the entire nation.
The General Secretary requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels, first of all the leaders, need to promote the achieved results, have specific plans and solutions, set an example, and make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style a cultural need of each cadre, Party member and people of all walks of life. The Central Propaganda Department highly promotes its advisory, coordination and implementation role, making studying and following Uncle Ho a voluntary, regular daily task, associated with the emulation movement to implement Uncle Ho's Testament, implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, create clear changes in solving specific and practical tasks, strongly promote economic - cultural - social development, ensure social security, care for the people, fight against corruption, waste and negativity.
The General Secretary requested that we study and follow Uncle Ho to build our Party to be truly "ethical and civilized", each Party member to be truly "a loyal servant of the people"; so that our entire Party, people and army, regardless of the circumstances, always steadfastly adhere to the goal of national independence associated with socialism; have the iron will that "nothing is more precious than independence and freedom"; constantly consolidate and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc under the leadership of the Party, combined with the strength of the times, successfully implement the strategic goals of 100 years under the leadership of the Party, 100 years of the founding of the country; no matter how difficult it is, we must definitely build a Vietnam of rich people, strong country, fairness, democracy and civilization.
The General Secretary believes that each honored example will continue to contribute and set an example with new results and new successes, constantly spreading, inspiring and attracting people from all walks of life to compete to learn and follow Uncle Ho so that "each good person, each good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest", contributing to building socialist people, creating a foundation for successfully building socialism...
The General Secretary believes that under the glorious flag of the Party, together with pride in the heroic Nation, the glorious Party, and great Uncle Ho, the spread of typical advanced examples in studying and following Uncle Ho will be wider and deeper; we will promote the Vietnamese spirit, soul, and heroic spirit; promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, and national pride, so that the Journey of Aspiration will soon reach its glorious destination.

These are cadres, party members, soldiers, doctors, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities, workers, farmers, typical groups, good models, effective ways of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. These groups and individuals are always steadfast, courageous, creative, pioneering, daring to think, daring to do, with simple but noble actions, bringing practical values to the community and society, strongly inspiring the aspiration to build a prosperous, civilized and happy country, continuing to affirm and build a system of human standard values, a system of national values, creating a solid foundation to enter a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
On this occasion, the Central Propaganda Department launched a database on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
