Son Hai Group donated 2 billion VND and 20 tons of rice to support people in flood-affected areas.

On the morning of December 2, at the headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, Base 2 (Binh Kien Ward), the working delegation of Son Hai Group led by General Director Nguyen Viet Vuong presented 2 billion VND and 20 tons of rice to support people in Dak Lak province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Comrades Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dao My, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office received the delegation.

Provincial leaders informed the working delegation of Son Hai Group about the damage in the province after the recent historic floods.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Vuong, General Director of Son Hai Group, said that the delegation directly visited, encouraged, and gave gifts to people who suffered heavy losses due to the recent historic flood in some localities in the East of Dak Lak.

Faced with the material and spiritual losses of the people, with the spirit of mutual love, Son Hai Group wishes to contribute a small part to help people overcome the current difficulties to soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Representative of Son Hai Group presented a symbolic plaque of 2 billion VND to support Dak Lak people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Thi Chien Hoa respectfully thanked the staff of Son Hai Group.

Comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa said that the recent historic flood caused heavy damage in the province. Currently, the locality is focusing on overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster with a sense of urgency to help people return to normal life soon.

“While people are facing difficulties, the support of Son Hai Group demonstrates the spirit of sharing, adding motivation for the province to soon stabilize after the natural disaster,” said Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Thi Chien Hoa.

Provincial leaders received a symbolic plaque of 20 tons of rice supported by Son Hai Group.

Immediately after receiving the aid, the provincial leaders directed relevant units to urgently allocate support resources to the right subjects and actual needs, prioritizing households that suffered heavy damage to their houses, production land and livelihoods.
