Training on making TV reports for reporters and editors

On November 22-23, the Hung Yen Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Center for Journalism (Vietnam Journalists Association) to organize a training course on television reporting for reporters. Nearly 50 trainees, reporters and editors working at press agencies in the province and in the region, attended the course.

During the training course, the lecturers conveyed many important and highly practical contents such as: the concept of television reporting; the role of images in storytelling; exploiting sound elements including scene sounds, interviews, commentary and background music; skills in writing short, concise commentary in harmony with images and sounds. In addition, students learned about the genres of television reporting; practiced building the structure of a work; skills in exploiting details; requirements of professional ethics in journalism; exchanged experiences and answered questions during the working process.

At the end of the training course, trainees were awarded a certificate of completion.
The training course contributes to improving television reporting skills for reporters and editors in the region.
