- During 2 days (November 11 and 12), the Department of Home Affairs organized a training course to improve knowledge and skills for 70 female leaders and managers at the department and affiliated levels of wards and communes in the province .

Here, students were taught a number of topics such as an overview of the local government model; an overview of leadership and management activities at the grassroots level; the role of department-level leaders in performing public duties when implementing a two-level local government; public duty requirements for department-level leaders when implementing a two-level local government; and some skills for department-level leaders and managers.

The training course is part of the implementation plan of Project 8: “Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children” under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Through the training, trainees are updated and improved their knowledge, leadership and management skills, thereby performing well the political tasks and professional tasks at the grassroots level when implementing the 2-level local government model, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals in the province.
It is expected that in 2 days (November 18 and 19), the Department of Home Affairs will continue to organize a training course to improve knowledge and skills for female leaders and managers at the department level and those in wards and communes in the province (second class) for 80 trainees with similar subjects and content.
