On December 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Duc commune coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city to organize a training conference on propaganda and dissemination of legal education for ethnic minority areas in 2025.

At the training session, Dr. Ngo Van Ngon - Deputy Chief of Office, Hanoi City New Rural Construction Coordination Office, provided information on the implementation results of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the period 2021 - 2025, advantages, difficulties and solutions in the coming time.

At the same time, the reporter also introduced new points of the Law on Organization of Local Government, digital transformation work; summarized the content of the National Target Program on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction and socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2026 - 2035.

According to Mr. Ngo Van Ngon, the New Rural Development Program not only brings about changes in infrastructure, but also creates comprehensive changes in people's thinking, lifestyle and way of doing things, thereby contributing to improving the quality of life and making the countryside truly a livable place.

Before implementing the 2-level local government model (July 2025), Hanoi had achieved 100% of communes meeting new rural standards; 229 communes meeting advanced standards; 109 communes meeting model standards; 100% of districts and towns completing the task of building new rural areas, of which 6 districts met advanced standards. The city also led the country in the OCOP Program with 3,363 products, including 9 5-star products.

In the period 2010 - 2024, Hanoi mobilized more than 185 trillion VND for new rural construction, of which people contributed more than 21 trillion VND. Many good models and creative methods such as "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe", "Model garden", "Clean house - beautiful garden" have been widely replicated, creating a strong influence in the community...

Regarding the bright spots in new rural construction, before implementing the two-level local government model (July 2025), Hanoi had 100% of communes meeting new rural standards. Of which: 229 communes met advanced new rural standards (accounting for 60%); 109 communes met model new rural standards (accounting for 29%); 18/18 districts and towns completed the task/met new rural standards (100%); 6/17 districts met advanced new rural standards (accounting for 35%). Hanoi also led the country in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program with 3,363 products (accounting for 21% of the country), including 9 5-star products.
