On November 30, 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Environment submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a Plan to concentrate resources on site clearance and create clean land funds to call for and attract investment in economic zones and industrial parks. The whole province currently has 01 Nam Can Economic Zone with an area of ​​10,801.95 hectares and 09 industrial parks with a total area of ​​2,458.36 hectares, but only 02 industrial parks Khanh An and Tra Kha have basically completed site clearance; the remaining 07 industrial parks have not been completed or have only been partially implemented.

Song Doc Industrial Park is located in Song Doc commune, Ca Mau province.

The plan sets targets for 2030: completing 100% of planning work and 100% of site clearance work in Economic Zones and Industrial Parks; the rate of calling for investors to participate in investment, construction and business of technical infrastructure on cleared land areas reaches 90%. Key tasks include: Organizing land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement in accordance with the provisions of law; developing compensation and site clearance projects to create land funds in economic zones and industrial parks; reviewing and prioritizing the implementation of areas with advantages in attracting investment. Arranging and balancing resources from public investment plans, revenue from land use rights auctions and mobilizing other legal capital sources to carry out site clearance. Speeding up the progress of measurement, counting, appraisal and approval of compensation plans; enhancing dialogue, propaganda, mobilization and timely settlement of complaints during the implementation process. At the same time, promote and call for investment, select investors to implement construction projects and trade in technical infrastructure in accordance with the provisions of law.
The plan is of great significance in overcoming the limitation of lack of clean land fund - the main reason for slowing down investment attraction in economic zones and industrial zones. Concentrating resources on site clearance is determined to be extremely necessary to create clean land fund, speed up the process of calling for and attracting investors to build and operate technical infrastructure of industrial zones and economic zones in the province./.
