Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai said that the province's socio -economic situation in general continues to maintain growth momentum. Notably, the total export turnover in the first 10 months of the year is estimated at 2,610.8 million USD, reaching 116.8% of the plan and increasing by 42% over the same period in 2024. The total state budget revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 is 13,966 billion VND, reaching 104.24% of the central government's estimate. GRDP growth in the first 9 months is estimated at 6.9%. By the end of October 2025, the disbursement of public investment capital in the whole province reached more than 6,155 billion VND, reaching 45.46% of the plan.

However, Dak Lak province still has some limitations. The GRDP growth rate in 2025 is estimated at 7.18%, not reaching the 8% plan. The progress of disbursement of public investment capital is still slow, the disbursement rate is lower than the national average.
In particular, storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) caused more than VND2,000 billion in damage to the province, greatly affecting the growth rate. The province has decided to support over VND80 billion to overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 13 in 46 communes and wards. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan also reported on the work of overcoming the damage caused by storms and floods.
At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet expressed his opinions and recommendations. Dak Lak Province proposed that the Central Government pay attention and provide about 200 billion VND in funding to overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 13. The Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee also proposed and recommended increasing the support level from the Central budget in the 2026-2030 Medium-Term Public Investment Plan with a total support capital demand of about 143,000 billion VND. Including the investment project to build an expressway connecting the section from the North-South Expressway in the East to National Highway 14.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and commended the work of natural disaster prevention, control and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13. Comrade Mai Van Chinh requested the province to review and specifically and accurately count the damage caused by storms and floods to propose support measures to the Government.
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh affirmed that GRDP growth is a legal target. He requested the province to take measures to ensure 8% growth by 2025. The Deputy Prime Minister asked the province to focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in disbursing public investment capital and attracting investment. The province needs to speed up the implementation of key projects to promote growth.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned ministries and branches to study, handle, resolve and remove difficulties for the province regarding Dak Lak's recommendations. Any recommendations beyond their authority will be reported to competent authorities for direction to resolve in a way that creates favorable conditions for the province.
