Flood and storm recovery work is still being urgently implemented synchronously with many solutions.

Due to heavy rains and floods causing deep inundation and serious landslides in hundreds of locations, many major roads are blocked. Although the forces have made efforts to synchronously deploy many solutions, there are still 12 traffic jams on national highways managed by the locality.

National highways managed by the Central Government have been reopened since 4:30 p.m. on November 22.

For locally managed routes, there are currently 12 traffic jams, specifically:

In Khanh Hoa province, there are 9 landslides on National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass) from Km44+410 to Km51+700. The locality plans to open the entire route to 1 lane before December 4. Khanh Hoa Department of Construction has banned vehicles from going up the pass and organized traffic flow as follows:

Direction 1: National Highway 1 → National Highway 27 → Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway → Da Lat.

Direction 2: National Highway 1 → National Highway 26 → National Highway 27 → Da Lat.

In Lam Dong province, there are still 3 traffic jams, including 1 landslide on National Highway 27C (Km65+800–Km66+00), expected to open to traffic on November 28; 1 on National Highway 20 at Mimosa Pass, expected to open to traffic on November 30; 1 on National Highway 20 in the D'Ran Pass area; expected to open to traffic with 1 lane on November 30 and complete cleaning before December 15.

Localities are still implementing traffic diversion through National Highway 20, National Highway 27 and DT.725 road.

Recently, the Ministry of Construction has issued many telegrams and documents directing, urging, and guiding the implementation of measures to respond to natural disasters; at the same time, it has sent many working groups to damaged localities such as Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Lam Dong to inspect the scene and direct emergency handling. Road management units maintain 24/24 duty, mobilizing forces, vehicles, and materials according to the "4 on-site" motto to promptly handle arising situations.

Since November 20, the Department of Construction has mobilized more than 160 vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, cranes, and dump trucks, to transport relief goods, rescue forces, and serve the travel needs of people in isolated areas.

The Vietnam Road Administration has established working groups to directly monitor the scene in the South Central region, directing the construction unit to mobilize human resources, machinery, and promptly use spare materials to overcome the incident, ensuring traffic safety. At the same time, the Administration has regulated and provided emergency support of 12,000 steel cages to the localities of Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Lam Dong to serve the landslide handling.

Road Management Areas III and IV have worked directly with the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong to assess the extent of damage and develop solutions to speed up the progress of opening National Highway 27C and National Highway 20.

Currently, the Vietnam Road Administration continues to maintain a 24/7 duty regime, ready to operate and respond to arising situations, striving to restore safe and smooth traffic as soon as possible.
