Focus on supporting agricultural production

DONG THAP Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on implementing support for agricultural production to restore areas damaged by natural disasters and epidemics in the locality.

Based on Resolution No. 09/2025 dated November 4, 2025 of the People's Council of Dong Thap province stipulating the level of support for agricultural production to restore production in areas damaged by natural disasters and epidemics in the area (Resolution), the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant units to guide the People's Committees of communes and wards to organize the implementation of the Resolution; determine the level of damage of each subject to ensure proper, sufficient and practical support.

In addition, organize propaganda and widely disseminate the contents of the Resolution to relevant subjects for knowledge and implementation. At the same time, be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, supervising and urging the implementation of the Resolution in the province; promptly coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles, ensuring that the contents are implemented fully, accurately and on schedule.

The Department of Finance is responsible for closely coordinating with the Department of Agriculture and Environment in guiding the implementation of the support level according to the Resolution. Take the lead in checking and supervising the allocation, payment and use of support funds, ensuring transparency, compliance with regulations, avoiding loss or misuse.

As for the People's Committees of communes and wards, they organize the implementation of the Resolution in the locality in accordance with the regulations and instructions of specialized agencies; propagate so that people clearly understand the policies, rights, obligations and implementation procedures. Receive and handle people's requests for support according to regulations; proactively arrange funds to promptly implement policies, ensuring the Resolution is fully and effectively implemented.
