On the afternoon of April 16, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the 16th conference (term XIV), to consult and elect additional members of the Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term and a number of other important contents. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.
At the conference, the leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee approved the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on receiving cadres and the decision of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Standing Committee on appointing cadres; the proposal to add members of the Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XIV, 2019-2024. With a high sense of responsibility, democracy, solidarity, the conference conducted consultation and unanimously voted with a 100% rate to elect Ms. Pham Thi Luong, former District Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quan Hoa District, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee as a member of the Committee, holding the position of member of the Standing Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XIV, 2019-2024.
In her acceptance speech, Ms. Pham Thi Luong promised to continuously cultivate and improve her political qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; stay close to the grassroots, unite with the leadership and staff of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.
Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee reported on the results of organizing the commune-level Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, by April 8, 558/558 commune-level units had successfully organized the Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term with the quantity and quality of committee members and the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level meeting the requirements, with many members increasing compared to the previous term.
Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, congratulated Ms. Pham Thi Luong, who had just been elected by the consultation conference to hold the position of Committee Member, Standing Member of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and hoped that she would promote her working experience and continue to work with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to successfully implement the contents and programs of coordinated and unified action that have been set out.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy also requested the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province to continue to focus on preparations to organize the district-level Fatherland Front Congress with the best conditions, on schedule, and in accordance with personnel procedures.
It is recommended that member organizations and socio-political organizations continue to coordinate closely to effectively implement the program of coordinated and unified action, especially in directing and propagating the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels, implementing emulation movements, campaigns, and projects to welcome the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels.
